Sharif Math Team Ranks First in the State Competitions

Sharif University of Technology (SUT) math team, winning five gold medals, ranked first in the State Competitions on Mathematics for the 24th consecutive time.
In the 35th round of the state math competition being held from April 3 to 7, 2011 in Shahid Beheshti University, SUT math team being supervised by Dr. Mohammad Gholamzadeh, became first among 34 universities of the state and it attained five gold medals. This is the 24th consecutive time that Sharif math team ranks first in this competition.
According to the news reported by the Public Relation Office of SUT, the average attained grade by SUT student team amounted to 157.4, as number one, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad became the second with a grade decline of 56 and K. N. Toosi became the third with a grade decline of 87.
